O Geopark Mt. Taishan, na China mandou consulta preliminar tendo em vistas geminação ao Geopark Araripe. Caso aprovada, será firmado protocolo, onde os dois geoparks passaram a atuar com entidades gemeas, com programas comuns de intercambio e representação. A carta foi mandada pelo, pelo Sr. Luo Tuanjie, representante do Escritório Geral dos Geoparks Chineses - GGN Beijing Office.Mais uma vitória do Geopark Araripe a ser comemorada.
